The Deets:
-
35mm film photography is a traditional way of taking pictures using a camera that captures images on a strip of 35mm-wide film. After we’ve finished shooting your roll of film, it then needs to be developed. This involves processing the film in chemicals to reveal the image we captured!
-
Super 8 videography refers to the art of capturing video using Super 8mm film, a vintage film format introduced in the 1960s. Unlike modern digital video, Super 8 is an analog medium, meaning the footage is captured directly onto physical film stock! Think of your great grandparent’s wedding video!
-
Since Super 8 video is captured on a physical roll of film, it unfortunately does not capture real time sound. Your video will have music behind it that is most fitting to the vibe of your day! This music can either be chosen by you or me. :)
-
Since your photos are dependent on film lab developing plus the photo editing process, I typically have a 2-3 week turn around time for Engagement or Family shoots.
Wedding Film Photos- 4-6 weeks.
Super 8 Wedding Video- 6-8 weeks.
You can expect sneak peeks in the meantime!! :)

First of all—same! Almost everyone I photograph starts here. You don’t need to suddenly become “photogenic” or know how to pose. My job is to make things feel relaxed enough that you stop thinking about the camera entirely.

I talk to you like a normal human, keep things moving, and create space when you need it!! No pressure to perform. No expectations to act a certain way. You don’t have to “act natural” you already are!
Final reassurance?
If you’re worried about being awkward, you’re exactly the kind of person I photograph. And I promiseeeee—you’re going to be just fine!
